When you do magic, you open yourselves up to spiritual forces, some of which are harmful.
Trying to do magic unprepared (through lack of training, not the right mental state, etc) is at best ineffectual, and at worst will draw innegative spiritual influences

Anyone can do magick. It has nothing to do with religion, but the manipulation of energy through focus.
The focus is derived through things that provide meaning with one’s understanding of the whole whether it be amplified by one’s religious beliefs or something else.
Silly, silly people, this is nothing that you can just “try” this is a life style and a religion, the closest you can test wicca is as close as you can test the validity of Jupiter having land, you say it may or may not but until some one goes below the clouds no one truly knows if it has any land or is just a gas giant.
I like the conotation as Black ans White but not for a spell but for the intentions.For instance,A spell for breaking a couple:
If one person is abusing or beating the other person,it is consider White,cuz u help.But if you want to break the couple so you can have one of them,it is Black. but the spell in itself is not one or the other. This is my vue of it,it can be inacurate.I undurstand that very well.
i dont know how many tims ive had to tell people : THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BLACK MAGICK, OR WHITE MAGICK ! ! ! all magic is of the same essence and cannot be classified as ‘black’ or ‘white’. its all the same thing! ! there is ‘good’ ways to use magic (healings, blessings) and there are ‘bad’ ways (curses, bad luck spells). DO NOT BE CONFUSED!
Every belief structure has it’s absolutes, even Paganism. I’m a Christian, and a former nihilist, looking for truth, I think I’ve found it with Christianity, but I could be wrong.
