Season 8 – Episode 25, Show #253: After consuming an exotic drink at a restaurant, Samantha begins to feel lightheaded, then red stripes appear criss-crossing her face. She also experiences a loss of her powers. Darrin, Dr. Bombay and Aunt Hagatha, who was babysitting the children, all work together to try and cure Samantha. This is the last Dr. Bombay episode, and also Samantha’s last witch-illness episode. Reta Shaw guest stars as Aunt Hagatha.

This strange how did Samantha figure out that she had to test out her witchcraft, and knew that it was when the lamp fell?
This is a “remake” of an episode early on when Samantha has an allergic reaction to a Peruvian rose, I believe. Aunt Clara send Darrin out to get some odd stuff for an antidote…
maybe out of courtesy?
This episode was telecast on March 18, 1972 – it also marks the last time that Samantha has a witch-illness, and the last appearance of Dr. Bombay.
