Dianic Wicca focuses more on a
feminine energy rathe than a male.
Not all but quite a few are lesbian witches. (( Hard to explain….look it up Dx ))

Every video I’ve watched today there’s been some Christan person saying that we worship Satan and such but how could we if Satan is only in your religion not ours so get the fuck out of things you obviously know nothing about

To everyone else I bothered to read the comments of Blessed Be

Even the one whose coming is marked by the working of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with every deceit of wrongdoing among those whose fate is destruction;because they were quite without that love of the true faith by which they might have salvation. And for this cause, God will give them up to the power of deceit and they will put their faith in what is false:So that they all may be judged, who had no faith in what is true, but took pleasure in evil.

Ah, but I wasn’t referring to men. Since I had mentioned the contrast of the common religious belief, I had expected you to understand that I was referring to the mindless brutality used in order for that religion to be dominant today (unless you don’t know the history, in which case, scratch that.) Masculine and feminine energies are in everything. Physical manifestations of these things are not limited to those energies. But that should be too redundant to say, not to mention irrelevant.-shrug

Not all forms of wicca focus on the Goddess though. I would avoid using offensive terms like mindless brutality when referring to men. Truthfully I find that very offensive.

I think what they were trying to say was that in contrast to that commonly understood god-worship. Wicca, being highly concentrated from the older religions, focuses more on the goddess. Since in the old times, when people didn’t understand where babies came from, they only saw they came from women, they decided that divinity was female. So generally, it’s more feminine than mindless brutality (masculine). But I can see where the misunderstanding might arise. No offense taken. :) Warm blessings

This was very helpful. Thank you for sharing. :)

I completely agree with you! I can’t imagine worshiping only the Goddess or just the God. It’s like saying that women/men can have babies by themselves. Men need women and women need men, in order to continue the species. That is the law, except for bacterias, fungi and other simpler life forms.

    Blessed Be

Basically I think it should be specified what type of Wicca these people are practicing. Overall, the video defined wicca or witchcraft as a goddess honoring religion when it really does need to be specified. Things have different meanings to different people…we just need to acknowledge these differences.

I don’t intend to offend anyone in saying this…
There is Dianic wicca which does focus on the goddess, but I never really understood how that fits the description of wicca. To me wicca has always been about balance of everything in the universe and I find it sort of strange that Dianic wicca doesn’t align with both the god and the goddess equally.

Again, I don’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. I do believe in doing what feels right, I am just saying I don’t understand Dianic wicca.

But..I thought there were different types of Wicca…like perhaps Godess worship…

  • 7SidedCircle said:

Wicca doesn’t focus on the goddess! Wicca preaches balance! Both the god and the goddess are honored in the same way!
