A Wiccan Solitary Opening Ritual
**PLEASE READ** Ok so in this video I am not performing an actual ritual, I am just marking out the steps. Rituals are really personal and so I wouldn’t post a real one unless I was in a big Sabbat celebration with other Wiccans (as long as all of them didn’t mind). I did this video because when I first started on this path it really helped me to see rituals performed on film so that I could learn so much easier how I coudl do one myself (I am a visual learner). This is not the only way to do an Opening Ritual but it is how I do it. I got my ideas and practices from my resources, such as A Witche’s Bible by Janet and Stewart Farrar, and Exploring Wicca by Lady Sabrina, as well as so many videos, websites and books. 1) Cleanse the space: smudge, burn, shake ect. 2) Consecrate the water. 3) Cast the circle. 4) Cleanse yourself with water (and whoever else is present, bid them entrance and cleanse them.) 5) Call the Guardians of North. 6) Take salt round. 7) Call the Guardians of East. 
Take Insence round. 9) Call the Guardians of South. 10) Take a candle round. 11) Call the Guardians of West. 12) Take water round. 13) Invoke the Deity. x

Nothing bad happens if a ritual goes wrong. You can’t go wrong (unless you drop something or create a house fire!) you just go with what you feel.
Becaus eyou are practicing what you BELIEVE you cannot be wrong and it is very real and uplifting. I’m eclectic so I don’t follow any practice within ‘wicca’ that i disagree with.

Pagyptsian, what do you get out of Wicca? I’m not really religious but don’t ever rule anything out. Is it an emotional benefit or do actual physical anomalies take place?
This might be something I give a try just to appease my curiosity. Are there negative consequences if rituals are performed incorrectly or you turn your back on the practice?
Just curious. I’m a hobbyist and even if I do try this I can’t guarantee I would continue down that path.

The first ritual I had was with a friend and actually we were both so nervous on getting it right that we didn’t giggle or feel stupid. After a while though I began to prefer solitary work and so started to feel uncomfortable when things were going successfully in ritual.
Working alone I feel fine =] Don’t be worried just go for it, you will feel fine after a time!

I literally was just finding another religion other than christianity (which wasn’t working for me), and heard the word pagan, googled it and found wicca. Turned out I loved it ^^

how did u get introduced into Wicca? I just found out about it and it really interests me. =]
Well it’s not cool. It is fun, because I enjoy it. But yes I believe in it. People totally have teh wrong impression of witchcraft. They think it’s all fireballs and poofs of smoke. Magick is so simple and normal. It’s just science. Ritual is something man made just to express feelings and belief.
With all due respect, do you honestly believe this stuff or do you just do it because you think it’s cool/fun?
